Miley Gets Stitches After Accidentally Cutting Finger
Miley Cyrus had to go to the hospital on Monday night, but it was nothing serious.
TMZ.com reported that Cyrus accidentally cut her finger in her Los Angeles home while cooking. Accompanied by her mother, grandmother and boyfriend, “Hunger Games” actor Liam Hemsworth, she went to the hospital, where she received stitches.
Miley’s rep confirmed the incident to ABC News, saying, “She cut her finger while cooking. Had to get a few stitches. She’s doing fine.”
She was well enough to tweet about the incident today, telling her fans, “I’m all stitched up & have on a splint so I’m good. As you can tell by my expression, didn’t feel so good. Curse u blender!”

Miley Cyrus praises Ashley Judd after dissing anorexia talk
Miley Cyrus, who on Sunday night dismissed eating-disorder rumors, was giving props to Ashley Judd on Tuesday after reading the latter’s article slamming the national media for its recent discussion of her looks.
“Thank you @AshleyJudd,” Cyrus said, responding to a tweet in which Judd marveled at the positive response to her words in the Daily Beast. “This article was music to my ears. Beautifully said and beyond inspiring. I hope everyone woman reads this.”
Praise for Cyrus’ recently slimmer appearance gave way to talk of anorexia Sunday night after she posted a picture showing her breathing deeply from bag of Carl’s Jr. food, with the caption, “I can’t eat it. So I’m just gonna smell the … out of it! My mouth is LITERALLY watering.”
Let the games begin, right? But Miley wasn’t having any of it,
“For everyone calling me anorexic I have a gluten and lactose allergy,” she said an hour later. “It’s not about weight it’s about health. Gluten is crapppp anyway!”
Judd’s article addressed the media and public frenzy that surrounded a March 20 TV appearance, after which her supposedly ”puffy” appearance was the subject of rampant speculation by many outlets about what she’d done to get her face looking like that. Cosmetic fillers? Plastic surgery gone wrong? Her rep released a statement saying the actress had been ill and was suffering the effects of prednisone use. Most comments along the way were not kind.
“It doesn’t actually matter if we are aging naturally, or resorting to surgical assistance,” Judd wrote. “We experience brutal criticism. The dialogue is constructed so that our bodies are a source of speculation, ridicule, and invalidation, as if they belong to others — and in my case, to the actual public,” Judd said before calling on other women to start a conversation getting at the roots of such “blatantly gendered, ageist, and mean-spirited content.”
Which brings us back to Miley Cyrus and her body
After that explanatory I’m-not-anorexic tweet and a couple of follow-ups, including one suggesting “everyone should try no gluten for a week!,” came yet another a wave of criticism — this time over the wisdom of recommending a gluten-free diet for those who aren’t allergic to the protein found in wheat.
Oy vey.
In Miley’s case, at least when it comes to eating things like cake and drinking beer, we have to wager that the benefits of avoiding gluten will ultimately go way beyond helping her physical health.
Let’s leave it at that.

Chris Hemsworth Can’t See Miley And Liam Getting Married
We already told you…that ring on Miley Cyrus‘ finger is not an engagement ring, which is probably a good thing, because Liam Hemsworth‘s older brother Chris Hemsworth doesn’t see a wedding happening anytime soon.
No, it’s not because he doesn’t approve of his bro’s girlfriend (imagine Thor not liking you? That would suck, big-time).
It’s for a very valid reason…
“They’re like 21 or something…I can’t see that happening,” he told us. “You have to ask him about his relationship.”
Ah yes, the whole age thing. We guess they’re too young to tie the knot (after all, not everyone’s as eager to get married as Courtney Stodden was).
As for Hemsworth’s love life, the married hunk is expecting his first baby, but he’s keeping all the gender deets under wraps.
“It’s definitely one of them [boy or girl]…It’s a secret.”

Miley Cyrus Goes Barefoot For A Good Cause
The star ditched her shoes and participated in ‘One Day Without Shoes’ to raise awareness for children who don’t have adequate footwear and are at a risk of disease, infection and injury — we love that she’s helping to spread the word!
On any given day Miley Cyrus may be walking a red carpet in a lust-worthy pair of designer pumps, but on Apr. 10 she ditched her fancy footwear for a good cause — and we’re so happy that she’s helping raise awareness for a good cause. She tweeted, “I’m going #withoutshoes today so kids don’t have to. Join me.” The star was participating in One Day Without Shoes, an annual event sponsored by TOMS Shoes to raise awareness for those who aren’t fortunate enough to own a pair of shoes.
While something as simple as shoes may be taken for granted on an everyday basis, I commend Miley for thinking of others and supporting the cause, which sheds light on the fact that countless children are at a risk for disease, infection and injury due to a lack of adequate footwear.

Miley helping rehome rescue dog
Miley Cyrus has reached out to her followers on Twitter.com in the hope of finding a new home for an injured rescue dog. The Disney star was saddened to read about the plight of Keller, a three-month-old Chihuahua that had suffered chemical burns and fractures before being taken in by Los Angeles’ Saving SPOT! Dog Rescue organisation. Cyrus has asked her fans to help find a home for Keller, but admits she is keen to take the canine in herself.
In a post on her page, she writes, “Please save this puppy… he deserves a good life possibly a part of the Cyrus Clan.”
We’re starting a fundraiser for Keller, a sweet 3-month-old long hair Chihuahua that we rescued from North Central Shelter. Keller was dumped there with chemical burns on his eyes and skin, as well as 3 fractures on his pelvis and hips. He has some vision out of one eye and really none from the second.
We want to take him to a specialist to try to restore as much vision as possible and get him surgery on his fractures so he can walk again. Miley Cyrus tweeted earlier today that she’s “highly considering moving back to Nashville.”
Sure, it’s home to the country singer, and Miley wouldn’t have to worry about missing any memos about wearing stilettos, but what does Nashville really have that Los Angeles doesn’t?!
It’s more like what it doesn’t have.
“Highly considering moving back to Nashville. I can’t stand these D Bag paparazzi anymore. Couldn’t even take my dog on a walk today,” Cyrus tweeted.
Oh right, privacy.
And Miley’s not alone. Matthew McConaughey recently rounded up his kids and bride-to-be Camila Alves and left L.A. to go back to his old Texas stomping grounds.

According to a recent report from Hollywood Life,bigtime star Miley Cyrus is headed in a new,reserved direction for her next movie gig as it’ll be about a young women’s broken promise to God.The script will be funded by Paramount Pictures,and Miley will also be producing the film as well.
They say that there was recently a meeting and a table reading for the movie,and they’ve been working on the script since March 18th,2012. The name of the film is currently being called “Miley Cyrus 2013 Project,” and will also be produced by Miley’s mom, Tish.
