Remake of 2008 French film finds Cyrus seeking revenge on a cheating ex-boyfriend.

It’s been a long time coming for Miley Cyrus’ remake of the 2008 French film “LOL.” Since the announcement back in 2010 that the film is being distributed by Lionsgate, news on the movie has been lacking. Well, not anymore, Cyrus fans.

On Tuesday, the official trailer for the film dropped, which gives fans a preview of what the movie has in store. In a generation that spends more time updating the world about their problems than their families, 17-year-old Lola’s (Cyrus) status is constantly changing. As an attempt to get back at her — now ex — boyfriend Chad for cheating on her with Ashley (Ashley Greene), Lola starts seeing his best friend, Kyle (Douglas Booth).

Her life begins to spiral downward as her grades drop while she experiments with drugs and sex, and a divorce has her mom completely oblivious to it all. Soon she starts to fall for Kyle and things get even more complicated. The trailer is a great peek at the teen drama, and we have the five key scenes from it.

EX-Boyfriend
The trailer begins with Lola’s voice over: “Every year it’s weird going back to school, but here we are just going with the flow, trying to love and laugh out loud.” She abruptly stops laughing when she calls out Chad on not texting her throughout the summer and he admits he hooked up with Lola’s rival Ashley. She acts like she doesn’t care, but as soon as she enters her room she begins crying on her bed. This emotional scene that sets up the rest of the trailer.

A New Beginning
Lola quickly gets over her failed romance as she begins hanging out with Chad’s best friend Kyle. A montage begins of their new friendship as they share a lollipop, rock out on an air guitar and come this close to kissing by his car. Everything is even more wonderful when he tells her, “You’re amazing.” We imagine audiences will quickly become fans of Booth.

“I can’t believe I ever dated you!”
But the puppy love comes to a halt when Lola begins her sexual awakening. It seems rumors begin circulating when Chad says to Lola in the school courtyard, “Now that you’re giving it up I figured maybe I could get some.” The next scene shows Lola lashing out and pushing him into a gate screaming, “I can’t believe I ever dated you!” The trailer isn’t clear on what exactly causes the outburst, but we’re betting it’s pretty bad judging by Lola’s reaction.

Trouble In Paradise?
As it turns out, Chad’s comment is just the beginning of situations that spiral out of Lola’s control. The next few scenes show a fight with her mom about her grades dropping and a drunken make-out session with Kyle. Her life gets even worse as she witnesses Kyle walking with his arm around Ashley. When she confronts him about it, he denies it and she spits out, “You’re disgusting.” But we already knew Greene’s character would cause a stir when Demi Moore told MTV News “she’s really saucy.”

“Status can change, but true love remains the same.”
Throughout the next montage of scenes, we see “status can change, but true love remains the same” typed out across the screen as Kyle dedicates a song to Lola and she makes up with her mom. Finally, as a smiling Kyle rests his head on an equally happy Lola, the trailer leaves us with the feeling that despite the craziness of high school, everything will work out for Lola in the end. After all, she did say she just goes with the flow and high school is only the beginning.

Miley Cyrus has reached out to her followers on Twitter.com in the hope of finding a new home for an injured rescue dog. The Disney star was saddened to read about the plight of Keller, a three-month-old Chihuahua that had suffered chemical burns and fractures before being taken in by Los Angeles’ Saving SPOT! Dog Rescue organisation. Cyrus has asked her fans to help find a home for Keller, but admits she is keen to take the canine in herself.
In a post on her page, she writes, “Please save this puppy… he deserves a good life possibly a part of the Cyrus Clan.”

We’re starting a fundraiser for Keller, a sweet 3-month-old long hair Chihuahua that we rescued from North Central Shelter. Keller was dumped there with chemical burns on his eyes and skin, as well as 3 fractures on his pelvis and hips. He has some vision out of one eye and really none from the second.
We want to take him to a specialist to try to restore as much vision as possible and get him surgery on his fractures so he can walk again. Miley Cyrus tweeted earlier today that she’s “highly considering moving back to Nashville.”

Sure, it’s home to the country singer, and Miley wouldn’t have to worry about missing any memos about wearing stilettos, but what does Nashville really have that Los Angeles doesn’t?!

It’s more like what it doesn’t have.

“Highly considering moving back to Nashville. I can’t stand these D Bag paparazzi anymore. Couldn’t even take my dog on a walk today,” Cyrus tweeted.

Oh right, privacy.

And Miley’s not alone. Matthew McConaughey recently rounded up his kids and bride-to-be Camila Alves and left L.A. to go back to his old Texas stomping grounds.

Miley Cyrus to star in new,Godly,Christian movie. According to a recent report from Hollywood Life,bigtime star Miley Cyrus is headed in a new,reserved direction for her next movie gig as it’ll be about a young women’s broken promise to God.The script will be funded by Paramount Pictures,and Miley will also be producing the film as well.

They say that there was recently a meeting and a table reading for the movie,and they’ve been working on the script since March 18th,2012. The name of the film is currently being called “Miley Cyrus 2013 Project,” and will also be produced by Miley’s mom, Tish.

Miley Cyrus pulls out her pink bike for a ride around the block on Friday afternoon (April 6) in Toluca Lake, Calif. Miley Cyrus plugs into her mp3 player as she walks pup Floyd around her neighborhood on Monday afternoon (April 2) in Toluca Lake, Calif. Earlier in the day, Miley was spotted at Windsor Pilates for another session in West Hollywood and she is looking incredible from every angle! The former Hannah Montana star has been faithful to her daily workout regimen which now includes a pilates class. Wearing black spandex and flip flops, Miley seems to be proud of her newly svelte figure. If we looked that good, we’d be showing it off, too! Miley Cyrus insists she’s “taking credit” for Liam Hemsworth‘s impressive style. Liam has been wowing on the red carpet of late as he promotes the record-breaking The Hunger Games alongside Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson. The Hollywood hunk has been impressing in dapper suits and smart attire which girlfriend Miley says she encouraged.

“He sometimes helps me out,” Miley admitted. “But I’m going to take a little credit for helping him get there.”

Miley is in awe of her beau’s fashion evolution. The stunning star has joked about Liam’s new penchant for designer dressing.

“Today I was like, ‘Excuse me, in your Dolce & Gabbana shoes!’” she laughed to InStyle. “He’s like, ‘How do you know they’re Dolce?’ I’m like, ‘I see you’re starting to step it up!’”

The couple have been dazzling at industry events recently. They attended Muhammad Ali’s Celebrity Fight Night last week, with Miley wearing a gorgeous floor-skimming flowing orange gown and Liam donning a dapper black suit complete with skinny black tie.

At the Los Angeles premiere of The Hunger Games at the beginning of the month Liam kept things simple again with a suit jacket and trousers, while Miley looked stunning in a chic black ensemble. The singer wore a black beaded cropped top and matching maxiskirt. She teamed the boho look with a pair of sky scraper heels.
